It is a homotropic soft magnetic material characterized by low magnetization power, absence of structural defects that hinder domain wall movement, and an extremely thin thickness of only 0.027 mm. Consequently, its filling factor is reduced to merely 0.75–0.8, while its resistivity is significantly higher—3–6 times that of silicon steel plate—and its hardness is five times greater. Amorfne sulam on erakordselt tundlik mehaanilise pinge suhtes.
